Bio

I am an artist living and working in Melbourne (Naarm), Australia on the land of the Boonwurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nations. This land on which I live, work, and study is stolen, and sovereignty was never ceded. I pay my respects to Elders past, present, and future.

Having grown up in a creative family filled with musicians, visual artists, and writers, I have been making art since I can remember.

I completed my Bachelors degree majoring in Visual Art and Literary Studies at Victoria University in 2021, and lived in New York whilst studying at Montclair State University in New Jersey for a year and a half as part of this degree.

After studying I travelled the world for two years, spending six months living and working in Greece on the seahorse shaped island of Amorgos, and one year working as an elderly carer in a 13th century convent in Sicily. These experiences have shaped my spirit and artwork beyond measure, clarifying my belief that life and art go hand in hand.

Since returning to Australia, I have completed my Honours degree in Fine Art at RMIT University, graduating in 2024, and look forward to growing and exhibiting my work further.

My art practice combines painting, poetry, and sculptural installation to generate enclosed spaces which enshrine fleeting moments and bring forth the hidden poetry of day-to-day life.

Through reading, writing, and painting I convene with these tiny moments, entities, and secret observations, and conjure them again; nourishing and enlivening the fragile poetry and unseen magic which is scattered throughout the cracks of everyday existence.
